Three Years (and a Couple Days) of Blogging!

So, I’m a little late, and I know anniversaries and such don’t matter, but I was pretty surprised to discover that it’s been three years since I started blogging!

I was eleven and wrote about things such as cheese roll-ups (please don’t look…please don’t), and I know I have progressed even further in my writing, and definitely in my faith. Anyways, I thought I’d share that with y’all.

Blessings! Repent and turn to Jesus–He loves you!

Wow Elle! Three years! I read some of your older blogposts a long time ago, and I certainly agree that you have grown very much in your faith and maturity; it’s great to see! 🙂 Keep growing!

  2. Hi Elle.
There is so much more in store for you when it comes to your blog. There is growing, learning, impacting people and the list goes on. It takes a lot to be consistent in doing a thing for three years. It speaks loads about the kind of person God has made you to be and are still growing up to be.
    Bless you.

  3. Elle — I post a comment on one of your earlier blogs recently. In so doing, I have had the pleasure of introducing your site to my readers. Here’s my gift to you:

Congratulations, Elle! — Today, in my post at LoveAndGrace (found here: http://bit.ly/2Q8dB7j), I nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award. This is a vote in recognition of your work as a Bible-based blog writer and encouragement for you to continue with the full confidence that the Lord is using you for His Kingdom. – Ward

(The logo doesn’t copy over, but it’s available via the link to my blog)

    The Rules:
Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link from your blog site back to him or her.
Answer the 11 questions provided by the blogger who nominated you.
Nominate 11 other bloggers and ask them 11 questions of your own. (These can be the same questions or you might want to change some of them.)
Notify the nominees by commenting on one of their blog posts.
List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo on your post.

    Questions I Will Submit

What is your “Life Verse” or favorite verse and why?
Describe briefly a moment of Grace in your life.
What is your favorite gift and why?
    Favorite Christian song lyrics?
Christian book that you would recommend
    Describe your intended blog reader.
Favorite book of the Bible and why? (okay to list two!)
What city or town is your favorite “go to” place and why?
What would you like to change about your life?
    Unmet desire or goal?
Share an interesting fact about your life.

Since I do not have a list of who has been nominated, you very well might fall under that category. However, by nominating your site, I have already introduced you to my readers, along with a recommendation to see what you’re doing. As I have gone through this process, I have learned more about other bloggers’ work. I am feeling great joy in that. God bless! Ward

    1. Oh, thank you so much for this nomination!! I greatly appreciate it.

While I’m not sure I know enough bloggers to nominate, I’m definitely in prayer about the bloggers to nominate and I have a few in mind. And I look forward to answering your questions! In between school and ministry, I’ll try to find some time to get that post up soon.

Thank you so much again for this honor and for your recommendation on your site.

      Blessings, Elle 🙂

      1. Hi, Elle — Please keep in mind that whatever encouragement you can offer someone who blogs from a Christian perspective is answering God’s call for your life. Although the guidelines called for nominating 11, you could humbly declare that you were unable to identify that number. Just let them know the goal was 11. BTW, I didn’t think I could find 11 either until I started looking! God bless you. /WP
