Hola, mis amigos! Cómo están?
Well, I’ve had a wonderfully busy week. Last weekend I had a sleepover with my friend, went to her soccer game, and went swimming. Then I went kayaking on Lake Trahlyta in Vogel State Park before a little hike. Needless to say, I was exhausted.
After a restful (and school-ful) Monday, we went to an inner healing and deliverance workshop/class/ministry in Kingston, Georgia on Tuesday. And Wednesday was really fun!
We went to Grace Midtown (a church in Midtown) for a worship night with Housefires. It was the farthest away from what you’re picturing right now. Grace Midtown is a medium sized church that was packed out for the writers of Good Good Father. We went down there with my friend Bethany and her dad, Mike. After the five of us arrived, the parents dropped Bethany and I off in the parking lot to go inside and find Ms. Meg and Austin. (If you don’t remember them, you must be really new.)
Austin grew like 10 feet (exaggeration alert) while we were gone, so I didn’t recognize him, and Ms. Meg was tucked in the corner.
I finally recognized Austin walking right past me, and followed him to their seats. We had a wonderful night of worship all together, then all headed to Steak & Shake for some dinner and catching up. (Austin said I had more of a Southern accent. I told him it was because I had been hanging around Bethany too much.) (Well, now that I think about it, we do have a running joke that he’s a Yankee and I’m a redneck – but that’s another story for another day) After finally falling asleep at 1:30 A.M., the three of us got a good night’s sleep.
And then, on Thursday, we all made our way to Jasper Georgia Prayer Meeting for a night with worship and friends. And finally, I did way over my norm of school this week
(surprisingly), so I quit early yesterday (at about 2:45) (15 minutes early). So I went to the pool with Mike, Bethany, and Katie May, Bethany’s little 4-year-old sister, which was quickly followed by pizza.
And now here I am posting after a busy week!
But wait – there’s more.
This afternoon we’re heading on over to West Georgia to hang out with our wonderful friends who live way over yonder. We’ll be heading over to worship there with friends, and we’ll see what else happens this weekend on our adventure.
Well, thanks for listening to my newsletter/rant. We love y’all!

Hey, Elle!
Just wondering if you knew about the Vacation Bible School that’s coming up on the 11th at TRFB Church (the little church where we had first met)? It starts at six P.M.
I suppose if you need clarification about my comment you can always reach me at the contact email I provided you.
Anyhow! Have a wonderful day,
~Kayla (aka. FatefulFaith)

Hey! Thanks for the thought! No, I didn’t know about it. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go because we are in South Dakota for the summer. Thanks again!
